Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the questions ASENO residents ask most. Can’t find what you need? Get in touch any time.

Browse the most common questions below, or choose a topic from the Support menu for more detail.

Getting started

ASENO supplies electricity as the authorised retailer. The private network is owned and operated by the relevant network provider, such as Sustainable Asset Co where applicable. Renewable energy arrangements vary by community and are explained in the customer offer.

Complete the Get connected form with your address, move-in date and contact details. We will confirm the account and connection status in writing.

Billing & payments

You are billed for the energy you use, on a regular billing cycle, with tariffs and charges shown clearly. Pay by a range of payment methods or set up direct debit.

Reach out early. We offer payment plans and a financial hardship program, and can help with concessions. See Financial hardship.

Faults & safety

Check whether the issue is limited to your property and, only if safe, check the switchboard. Contact your distributor for outages and power or gas faults. Call 000 if it is life-threatening or dangerous.

Register the premises with ASENO so the applicable life support protections and notices can be applied. Registration does not guarantee uninterrupted supply, so maintain an emergency plan.
